As for accessibility theyre pretty decent for people in wheel chairs but they do tend to choke the aisles with displays which is quite annoying during busy times.
Great personalities in the Wolmelsdorf store and bigger selections. Go in the morning and check out their donuts and coffee. This is a much better, bigger and friendlier store than the Bernville store.
Very good place to shop. Prices are fair. Service is always friendly. Only gripe is that sometimes things go out of date and are still on the shelf. Have gotten out of date string cheese and yogurt a few times in the past several years. I'm sure they would've made it right had I returned the items but it just wasn't worth my time. So yes I would recommend this place but check dates on perishables before you buy them
But all in all its a nice store with nice people with nice prices
Things can be... unpleasant. This place is too small for what it tries to be...
The place used to be dingy and old but after the remodel it just looks old. Like the walls are the same colors as the old plastic chairs they used when I was in Elementary school. Green and brown. Ick. But the new deli counter, the new open air bakery, and frozen section is modern and appealing and they got rid of all the worn out white metal registers. So things are much better now.
Another grievance I have with them is their bathrooms. There isnt a seperation of public or private bathrooms so employees have to share with customers and they are both located in the break room so if someones going number 2 while youre trying to eat...
Never in my life have I gone through a whole transaction that the cashier didn’t say one word to me. Brianne stood there looking around at everything but me. A pleasant hello and thank you would have been enough. I am spending my money at your store and I deserve at least that. Next time I’ll take a longer ride and go to Redners.
Ok, dont usually do the shopping. My wife gave me a list and asked me to go. I must've looked confused, or everyone there went out of thier way to help me. They all knew exactly where everything was when i asked. Very clean and friendly store. Will be back!
As for prices Ive heard it all. Some say this is their favorite store, others say Giant or redners are cheaper. But I only think Giant and Redners have more options. For example: Giant has like 4 or 5 different brands of mac n cheese of varying price whereas boyers only has kraft and their generic brand. But comparing prices side by side the same sorts of things they are pretty close.
